Free letters from Santa Claus to kids in Fairfield, California!
Elf Stacy Rose, owner of LegendaryLetters.com (the Official Office of Magical Mail), is giving away a free letter from Santa Claus to the first 100 children who drop a letter to Santa in the vintage letter collection box she special ordered from Santa Claus, Indiana. She hopes to have it by this Friday in time for children attending the Fairfield Christmas Tree Lighting to deposit their letters. The mailbox will remain posted outside her business located at 805 Jackson Street until December 15th or until the 100 letter limit has been reached.
Although the free letters will not be personalized as the other greetings available in her shop, they will still be printed on colorful holiday stationery and be stamped with a faux North Pole postmark. Parents should ensure that their children’s letters have a return address on the envelopes so Santa will know where to write them back. Elf Stacy has been helping Santa write letters to good boys and girls since 1997, is a member of PASE (Professional Association of Santa’s Elves), and is the founder of NOEL (National Organized Elves League). She hopes to make the 100 letter giveaway an annual tradition.
Wil Wheaton is getting one of our Hogwarts Letters!
This was posted on Twitter by Wil Wheaton on June 18th:
I want Hogwarts to be real SO MUCH. Is my owl here, yet?
— Wil Wheaton (@wilw) June 19, 2014
On June 20th, I received an order for a Hogwarts letter package for him. Someone close to him must want to help make his dream a reality. Today, July 29th, is his birthday. I wonder if it was ordered as a gift?
Think there’s even a remote possibility that our letter could make it onto his new TV show, “The Wil Wheaton Project”? 😉
Advertisements
We recently commissioned 3 ads using the same script. One is a comic strip in our photo gallery and two are video clips in our video section. Which do you like best? We’d love your opinion!
Modern English
I am SO excited to share this news with you all! I recently contacted the band, Modern English, through their official web site at http://modernenglish.me/ to ask permission to use their song, “Ink and Paper” as background music in a radio ad for Legendary Letters. The webmaster, Kraig, forwarded my email to them, and then wrote back that I was good to go. Robbie Grey had said, “No problem”! I am as giddy as a school girl right now bouncing off the walls that they responded! My husband and my official love song is “Melt with You” by them. Go check them out! They will be touring Europe and the UK soon. 🙂

Stacy’s father passed away today
It’s with a very heavy heart that we report that Stacy’s father passed away today after a month long battle with liver and pancreatic cancer. The store will be closed for a week while she helps her mother make the funeral arrangements and takes time to grieve with her family. Thank you for your patience and understanding. A link to the obituary is below for friends and family wanting to attend the service:
