Welcome to Legendary Letters! We have been helping Santa Claus write letters to good boys and girls since 1997. Others in the Magical Community soon asked us to help them process their letter requests throughout the year, and we happily agreed since we know children love to hear from them too! Word spread and soon the Council of Legendary Figures asked us to create the Official Office of Magical Mail.
We often get asked what the Magical Mail Office IS exactly? Well, whenever someone in the magical or wizarding worlds wants to write to someone in the regular world, they send the letter to us and we prepare it for the US Postal Service. We send out all the mail from Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, Cupid, Easter Bunny, MACUSA, MOM, and several Wizarding Schools. We even send out mail from those traveling in outer space or currently stationed on other planets. Mail from the wizarding world is delivered to us by owl while mail from the magical realm comes courtesy of a little magic from Santa Claus. Once we receive it each day, we package it up and get it ready for our daily USPS mail pick up.
The current head of our office is Postmistress Elf Stacy. She started helping process letter requests for Santa Claus as part of her secretarial service (est. 1996) and then through her husband’s toy store. They no longer offer secretarial services or toys, but could not stop helping Santa and the others. They know how much joy the letters bring to children because they have two of their own, and they love to see their boys’ faces light up whenever letters arrive.
Now when you stop by our brick and mortar office in Solano County, CA, you can see our real screen used Hogwarts acceptance letter envelope (from the scene where Harry tries to catch one from the fireplace)! Children may also drop off letters they’ve written to magical beings and parents may view samples of some of the things that pass through our office.
We are located in downtown Fairfield, Solano County, California at 707 Kentucky Street, Fairfield, CA 94533-5515.
